So legend goes, the Diva in quarantine cut up her petticoats to make a baby quilt for the Jailer & wife, having their first child. Except I've seen this quilt in State Archives, and it's not petticoat material. She was cutting up costumes to make that quilt. Why? Was the quarantine that bad, she was ...

Quarantine

I'm looking for info on a touring opera company that was quarantined in the Thombstone jail, circa 1883. Anyone come across this in their research? Newspaper research has only provided news of cattle quarantines.
